From Stay-at-Home Mom to Charlotte Photographer & Filmmaker

For years, my life was all about diapers, dishes, and doing the next right thing for my family. I was deep in motherhood, homeschooling three kids, and quietly carrying the weight of mental health behind the scenes.

But somewhere in the middle of it all, I picked up my camera again.

First, it was just to capture my kids. Then it was to create videos for our church’s kids ministry. And little by little, I found myself creating photos and films that helped people feel seen. That’s when I knew—this was more than just a hobby. It was my calling.

That’s how Gina Alex Creative was born.

Today, I’m a Charlotte-based photographer and videographer helping families, content creators, and small businesses bring their stories to life. Whether it’s branding photos, lifestyle content, or family sessions—my goal is always the same: to create visuals that feel personal, powerful, and rooted in purpose.
